It is put on through a joint effort between students, parents, GBHS PTSO Project Graduation Committee, the Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach communities..<\/p>\n<div lang=\"EN-US\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbhs-projectgrad.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1486-e1483650577970.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-367 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gbhs-projectgrad.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1486-e1483650577970-300x113.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"113\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gbhs-projectgrad.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1486-e1483650577970-300x113.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.gbhs-projectgrad.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1486-e1483650577970-768x290.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.gbhs-projectgrad.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1486-e1483650577970-250x94.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.gbhs-projectgrad.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1486-e1483650577970-150x57.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.gbhs-projectgrad.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1486-e1483650577970.jpg 1018w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><b>Who attends Project Graduation?<\/b><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Only seniors who are eligible to graduate from Gulf Breeze High School are permitted to attend. \u00a0Where is it held?\u00a0 Over the years it has been held at Big Kahuna\u2019s, The Track, The Naval Base, and OWA just to name a few.\u00a0 GBHS is known for its \u201cMystery Grad Party\u201d because historically the location is kept a secret.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div lang=\"EN-US\">\n<h1><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><b>Why is Project Graduation so Important?<\/b><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>According to the Florida Division of Alcohol Beverages and Tobacco, alcohol is the #1 choice of teens.\u00a0 National statistics show that more young people between 16 \u2013 20 are injured or killed between the hours of 10 PM and 4AM during graduation season (May\/June) than any other time of the year. \u2018Party hopping\u2019 is often how graduates like to celebrate.\u00a0 Project Graduation is a safe alternative to party hopping by providing graduates with a safe place to celebrate thereby keeping them off the roads in an alcohol and drug free environment.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><b>How is Project Graduation Funded?<\/b><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Donations, Donations, Donations!\u00a0 We rely on parents, community clubs, and local businesses to provide us with support.\u00a0 Students also buy a ticket that covers about 1\/3 of the total cost of the event.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><b>How Can I Help?<\/b><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Make a donation. Encourage your senior to attend. Tell your friends. Get them to donate. Volunteer to be on the committee. All of it helps!
